Resiliency Circles

NeuroSystemicsTM is a community-based methodology bridging ancient wisdom traditions, evolutionary neurosciences and systemic understanding to offer an integrative path to resilient healing, passionate living and awakening.

Resiliency Circles (RC) offer a unique environment to experience a safe, enjoyable and educational relational space. Trained professionals hold a compassionate and sensitive attitude to include all the parts of everyone present – orienting towards unconditional acceptance and appreciation. As the process unfolds, the RC’s therefore open the door to a palpable sense of peace, intimacy and connection with one another. As the group builds trust and learns to feel strong while sometimes showing vulnerability, the potential for healing, resiliency and awakening is exponential!

The purpose of an RC is primarily for individuals to experience and integrate a sense of belonging through their nervous system; the group work involves a psychotherapeutic process by including the missing and often alienated aspects of our being through the safe container held by the therapists and the quality of interaction between group members.

Practically, after a short introduction from the therapists, group members are invited to share freely whatever is on their mind/heart and there begins the free association conversation and spontaneous sharing. Each person manifests themselves differently, and the RC enables group members to embody a sense of belonging by appreciating the diversity of life experiences, points of view. Finally, as the group builds in its quality of compassion and enjoyment, it becomes a womb-like experience which supports deep nervous system regulation for all members.

Clinically proven benefits include:

  • Reduction of stress, anxiety, depression, addiction and trauma
  • Development of resiliency, emotional regulation and cognitive functioning
  • Reduction of chronic issues such as sleeping problems, chronic pain
  • Embodiment of social belonging and meaning

Who is the RC for?

Anyone wishing to

  • Enrich their relational skills
  • Develop new ways of feeling empathic, non-judgmental and compassionate
  • Be seen, be heard and welcomed in a genuine atmosphere of vulnerability
  • Learn how to be in groups with greater levels of ease, comfort and confidence
  • Enjoy a safe space
  • Form meaningful relationships

This new Resiliency Circle (RC) offers a unique environment to experience a safe, enjoyable and educational relational space. Together with about 5 to 8 other individuals, you will embark on a journey toward greater ease in your relationships toward others, increased capacity to handle challenges and most of all a new sense of enjoyment in being with others.

Whether you want to enrich your relationship with others, groups or even the world at large: during this RC you will get the chance to develop all the relational skills you need for living a vibrant and satisfying relational life.

Heath & Bas will facilitate a compassionate and cohering group space, able to include all the parts of everyone present. The purpose of an RC is primarily for individuals to experience and integrate a sense of belonging through their nervous system in a safe social space. The group work involves a refined process of including all aspects of our being, with special appreciation and awareness-raising for those more hidden parts of ourselves we distanced ourselves from when we adapted to our childhood environment. We do this delicate work using our highly calibrated skills in positive psychology, neuro- and systems science, which allows for safe and effective integration.

Practically, after a short introduction from the therapists, group members are invited to share freely whatever is alive in their minds and hearts at that particular moment. There begins the free association conversation as a group through spontaneous sharing and relating to each other. Each person manifests themselves differently, and the RC enables group members to embody a sense of belonging by appreciating the diversity of life experiences and multiple points of view. Finally, as the group develops its quality of compassion, containment and enjoyment, it becomes a deeply nourishing and empowering experience for all members, which supports deep nervous system regulation for all members.

It is this increased capacity on the level of our nervous system — our body, brain and mind — that translates to a higher quality of daily living, especially in relating to others, groups of people and the world around us.

NeuroSystemicsTM is a community-based methodology bridging ancient wisdom traditions, evolutionary neurosciences and systemic understanding to offer integrative path to resilient healing, passionate living and awakening.

A meta-systems methodology

NeuroSystemics is a clinical practice which can be applied in four settings: (i) embodiment training, (ii) individual processes, (iii) group processes and (iv) community processes. They each correspond to the concentric circles of (0) Sense, (1) Self, (2) Social and (3) Societal, respectively:

In whichever setting, we attempt to engage with all the parts of that system as well as the system as a whole. Biology and affect, as holonic fractals, can be both parts and wholes, depending on the breadth of attentional focus and practice setting.

This Demo: Safely Healing Trauma & Building Resiliency

Join this FREE Demonstration Session with NeuroSystemics associate faculty, Heath Wilson. Here you will see how to deftly navigate session work using the latest in neuro- and system- science, positive psychology and “holonic-stacking” in our unique NeuroSystemics approach. Witness this subtle and extremely powerful work IN ACTION that brings solid nervous system regulation, heals trauma and relational intimacy.

There will be time at the end of the session for a demo analysis with Heath and gifted mentors. These demonstration analyses are a lot of fun and educational and add a profound element to the overall understanding of the session. Don’t miss it!

NeuroSystemics Dharma

NeuroSystemics is an integrative methodology building resiliency and empowerment internally and in relationships. The Dharma program focuses specifically on grounding one’s attention and awareness in highly regulated nervous system states to experience ease, calm and joy. This offers deep possibilities of insight and wisdom to then arise.

Retreat Description

This “Somatic Dharma” retreat will explore the central importance of grounding one’s meditation practice in a regulated nervous system. So much of our daily life experience challenges the sense of feeling deeply embodied and feeling good, so it is key to offer the nervous system some space, kindness and attention to strengthen it. This resilience-building offers profound possibilities to deepen insight and understanding the true nature of mind.

In this retreat, we will:

  • Explore the links between somatics & Buddhist spirituality
  • Practice a range of nervous system regulation tools
  • Offer you a personal session to deepen embodiment by a trained somatic facilitator (limited spaces, see below)
  • Be supported by the wider holding of a team of compassionate facilitators
  • Find ways to integrate the practices in daily life

Schedule

The retreat starts on Friday April 1st at 6:30pm CEST for a welcoming and presentation of the coordination elements of the retreat, until Sunday 12:30pm CEST

You do not have to come to every session – we understand that you may have issues with some of the sessions, including timezone differences or other commitments you must maintain. It is fine to join for whichever sessions you can come to!

Private somatic regulation session

One of the unique features and contributions of NeuroSystemics to meditation and dharma practice, is to combine nervous system science with Buddhist practices. As part of this retreat you will have the opportunity to receive a 20-30 minute session with a trained professional supporting you to

  • better regulate your nervous system
  • strengthen your capacity to be in the here-and-now
  • ground your awareness in your body with ease, gentleness & pleasure

Fee
