The purpose of Empowerment Forums is to explore and experience together a theme related to the way we come into relationships, with an emphasis on systemic trauma and systemic resilience. A few examples include:
- Freedom from difficult emotions
- Shame & pride
- Embodying & communicating anger skilfully
- The role of gender in groups
In NeuroSystemics, we support growing resiliency, capacity and regulatory skills on 4 levels:
- SENSE: Embodying our senses, feelings and thoughts (in NeuroSystemics we call that our MOSAIC: Meaning, Orientation, Sensation, Affect, Image & Consciousness)
- SELF: Exploring our personality and psychological tendencies
- SOCIAL: Extending the habitual ways we engage in relationships, being vulnerable and feeling safe enough with others to be more ourselves
- SOCIETAL: Embedding our sense-self-social experiences in a wider understanding of our cultures
This multi-level framework offers an entire eco-system of ressources for a grounded, loving and fulfilled life. This is the opportunity to gather together with other ongoing Resiliency Circles from other NeuroSystemics mentors in our global community, and enrich our collective resiliency!
This EF: “Befriending Anger”
The theme for this workshop is “Befriending Anger.” Much research shows the importance and benefit of skilfully expressing anger in relationships, yet it is often challenging for most of us to achieve this.
We will inquiry together on the ways in which this emotion and its close relatives (assertiveness, frustration, agression, hate, etc) impact us and how we can learn to welcome them more easefully.
