In today’s world, filled with perceptions and stimuli, regulating the nervous system has become one of our most important priorities. NeuroSystemics team will introduce you to simple techniques you can use in daily life in collaboration with Cihangir Yoga. The workshop is open to participants of all levels and does not require any prior experience.
Objectives, Content & Benefits of this Workshop
- Skills to up-regulate your nervous system: you will experience practices of Mindfulness and compassion to deepen your capacity for attentional and emotion regulation.
- Skills to help regulate developmental trauma: we all carry some wounds from our childhood, preventing us from living our life meaningfully. In this workshop we will practice and learn 2-3 practical nervous system-informed tools to help you regulate and grow in you daily life, and with other people.
- Pedagogical maps & learning frameworks: We will share with you an easy-to-learn somatics framework so the practices make sense in terms of the latest neuroscience.
- Live demonstration: Boaz will give a short live demonstrations to show how these trauma-healing skills are applied in real time. We will have opportunities for questions and discussion also.
- Over the 1h45, you can expect:
- 30 minutes of content presentation
- 15 minutes of demonstration
- 30 minutes of experiential practice
- 30 minutes of questions and answers and discussion
